She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois and practiced with Arthur Anderson & Co. prior to starting Financial Controllers, Inc. in 1983. Carol is a CFP® professional and a CPA, which allows her to stay current on the dynamic changes occurring in the tax, accounting, and personal financial planning fields. She chooses, however, not to practice as a CPA so she can function as her client's associate and confidante instead of a public watchdog. For Carole, proactive accurate and informative analytical accounting is more important to decisions and planning than any other opinion she may issue on historical financial information.
